  • Step 1: DO NOT TRY TO YANK THE PAPER OUT! Instead, turn off the printer so that you won't cause any damage to your printer while removing the paper jam.
  • Step 2: If possible, manually remove the paper.
  • Step 3: If you can't remove the paper manually, open the printer door.
  • Step 4: Observe the location of the paper jam.
  • Step 5: Remove the paper.
  • Step 6: Close the printer door.
  • Step 7: Turn the printer back on.
